Harry Hayman is still very much involved in the restaurant and hospitality industries, but his work is primarily behind-the-scenes as an expert consultant. Harry serves as the COO of The Bynum Hospitality Group, which owns and operates the preeminent jazz and southern cuisine themed restaurants in Philly, including Philadelphia’s SOUTH Jazz Kitchen. He is also the CEO and founder of Gemini Hospitality Consultants, which provides assistance with all aspects of the hospitality business including but not limited to PACE analysis, top and bottom line strategies, marketing support, risk management and website design to help local investors, operators, and startups succeed.
Harry Hayman has also combined his restaurant experience with his charitable nature to form the Feed Philly Coalition. Working in restaurants gave Harry a first-hand look at how much perfectly good food is wasted every day, and inspired him to make Philadelphia stop wasting food and instead use it to feed the hungry. Harry’s dedication to this cause has even led him to introduce legislation that, if passed, would give a tax credit to Philly restaurants for donating leftover food.
If Harry Hayman sounds like the kind of person whose life, work, and ideals match a public event you’re planning in Philly, we encourage you to get in touch with him. Or even if you’d like to learn more about his current activities and the organizations he’s involved in, Harry would be more than happy to tell you everything you want to know.
